The Big Greasy Funk Band is a celebration of New Orleans funk and blues -- the roots of American music. The French Quarter's official kickoff to Mardi Gras is called the “Big Greasy” and its a fitting name for a high-energy band that gets the party started.

EXPERIENCE
The Big Greasy Funk Band formed in 2025. Its members have over one hundred years of performance experience across the country in groups including Funky Uncle, the Jon Archambault Band, 1000 Watt Prophets, Stone Folk, Big Fun, Blue Water Kings Band, and others.
